Meet The Face Behind Containers 4U

I’m Mike Sabotin, the proud owner of Containers 4U.

I look forward to sharing my story. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.

It occurred to me to start this business a few years ago when I saw a great need for cheaper storage solutions in the form of a shipping container. I quickly realized that this is a perfect storage space solution anywhere on a residential property or commercial lot.

Due to my extensive global management experience, I was able to quickly get into this business and scale it to the size that it is now in a very short period. I have over fifteen years of international and global management experience and was, directly and indirectly, involved with managing shipping containers and cargoes around the world. This extensive experience and a vast network of contacts allowed me to excel over my competition and offer much better service, accompanied by an even better price.

However, when I initially launched my business, it was a struggle. In the beginning, it was just me doing everything from sales to operations, administration, and dispatching. Now, I have over ten employees to take care of these aspects, and we are on track to hire another five within the next year or so.

As I’ve been in the shipping container industry for around two decades, I don’t see myself doing anything else. The most enjoyable part of my work is selling containers to potential customers and explaining to them all of the different uses and benefits that can be accomplished with a metal shipping container.

Another aspect of my job is ensuring that our organization’s stakeholders are treated fairly and with the utmost respect. We always put ourselves in the spot of the stakeholder when dealing with others to ensure that they are treated right.

I owe our success to this mentality and our excellent personnel that has been with us all along our journey. We haven’t had anyone leave our organization since we started it in 2014, and we are grateful for the team’s commitment. All of our moments together as a team have been very satisfying so far, and we look forward to plenty more in the coming years.

Whenever I have time to spare from running this business (and I do not get much of it), I like to enjoy my classic car that I’ve owned for several years now during the spring and summer months. In the wintertime, I head out into the great outdoors and enjoy the snow.

Besides this, I like to use my free time to think of ways to reuse shipping containers for anything my mind can come up with.

I have enjoyed sharing my story about the things which matter to me and how they influence the way I do business.
